Divergent by Veronica Roth

In a dystopian society, there are factions. Beatrice, along with all sixteen-year-olds, has to choose which one to pledge. Much like a sorority/fraternity, if you don't make the cut you're out. But this doesn't just mean being a nobody...it often means death.
There is a love story brewing, but it's not as typical as you think. There is action, adventure, loss, and love.
I was skeptical of yet another YA series, but I cannot wait to read the second installment. I had no nails left to chew on when done with the first.
